Dr Lynden Derrick
Dr Derrick is available Monday to Thursday for consultations. He is originally from Victoria, moving with his family to the Gold Coast in 2012. He has wide ranging experience in complex and family medical care, office based procedures, skin cancer removals, and cosmetic injections utilising Swedish dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments.
Dr Derrick trained at Monash University (Melb) graduating in 1996. He completed further hospital based training at Dandenong Hospital, Mildura Hospital, and the Royal Children's Hospital (Melb), then moved into rural Victoria to complete his General Practice training in Heyfield, working there for 12 years in General Practice, Hospital & Emergency care, and a wide variety of procedures.
Dr Aniceto Madronio
Dr Madronio completed his medical degree in 1990 in the Philippines, passing the Medical Board Examination and becoming a licensed medical practitioner in 1991.
He practiced in General Medicine in Community medical clinics and general hospitals in the Philippines before movin to Australia with his family in 2009. He is an active fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012.
Dr Madronio is passionate about his practice of General Medicine, employing active listening, compassion and thoroughness in the diagnosis, management and care of his patients.
Dr Madronio has special interest in the management of chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory diseases such as asthma and COPD, skin cancer medicine and musculoskeletal diseases and conditions. He is also adequately knowledgeable and skilled in the management of paediatric, geriatric, gynaecological and other general medical conditions.
Dr Madronio speaks English & Filipino.
Dr Maria Martinez
Dr Maria Martinez has been practicing as a GP for over 20 years. After graduating from Far Eastern University, Philippines in 1991 she trained for four years in family medicine in the Philippines. She then worked in private and government hospitals before moving to Australia in 2008, where she has been practicing as a GP in Lowood and the Gold Coast. Maria has also completed a one year of training in Psychiatry. Maria's professional interests include women's health, gynaecology, skin cancer diagnosis and management, adult medicine and paediatrics. Outside of work, Maria enjoys travelling, seeing musicals and watching tennis. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter.
Dr Mel DeCastro
Dr De Castro obtained his Doctor of Medicine Degree and passed the Physician Licensure examination in 1996 in Manila, Philippines. He worked in the local hospital and medical centre as a GP. He was recruited by the Fijian government and worked as a GP from 2001 to 2004. In June 2004, he moved to Australia and worked as a GP in northern Queensland.
Due to the demand in the place where he worked, he studied diving and tropical medicine and has been performing diving medicals. He passed the fellowship examination of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007. Dr De Castro moved to the Gold Coast area in 2008 and obtained a Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery. Subsequently in 2010, he completed his Diploma in Dermatology and will be undertaking a course in Aviation Medicine at Monash University in July to be able to be accredited in performing medical examinations for pilots and air traffic controllers.
His special interests are Chronic Diseases, Geriatrics, Skin diseases/Cancers and general medical conditions.
Dr Christian Vasquez

Dr Christian has been a Doctor on the Gold Coast since 2008.
Previously he worked in the Philippines for 8 years.
Dr Christian has a special interest in General Medicine, Antenatal Care, Men's health, Occupational Health, Paediatrics & general medicine.
Away from work, he loves a good coffee and time with his wife & 2 children.
Dr Cristina Penanueva

Dr Cristina has been a Doctor in Australia and overseas for 35+ years.
She is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She also works as an Assistant Surgeon at St Vincent's Lismore.
She has a passion for Children's Health, Women's Health and Minor Surgery.
Dr Maria Macaspac
MD, FRACGP
Dr Maria Macaspac has over 10 years experience in all aspects of general practice. She has extensive training and special interest in women’s health issues and skin cancer treatments.
Dr Maria is in clinic every Friday.
